Ocean County is moving ahead with plans to replace the aging Midstreams Bridge in Brick Township.
“We have now put the funding in place to replace this span that crosses over Beaver Dam Creek in Brick Township,” said Ocean County Freeholder John P. Kelly, Director of Law and Public Safety. “We anticipate work to begin in the Fall.”

Located at 8 Brick Plaza, the facility will open Saturday, April 22 with a full staff of experienced physicians and nurse practitioners. This is the seventh urgent care center for Immediate Care, with other locations in Toms River, Lacey, Hazlet, Red Bank, Edison and East Windsor.

Ocean Health Initiatives, Inc. (OHI), in partnership with the Head Start development program of O.C.E.A.N., Inc., has announced that the OHI mobile medical unit will be visiting several local Head Start program sites March 29 through April 5, 2017, to conduct dental exams, specifically for the children in Head Start programs. The Brick Township High School Drama Club will present the play “Arsenic and Old Lace” the weekend of Nov. 4-6.
The Drama Club was last year’s recipient of the Ocean County Teen Arts Award. Tech week is underway for the production, which highlights local high school students.

“The Ocean County Office of Senior Services will be providing assistance to our seniors who may have questions about changes to Medicare or who need to make plan changes,” said Ocean County Freeholder Joseph H.
