Variety of Holiday Shows Light up the Grunin Center at OCC

The Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts will present a full schedule of Holiday Shows from November 30 through December 21.  All shows take place at the Grunin Center, Ocean County College Main Campus, College Drive, Toms River, NJ.  Please use Parking Lot #2.

OCC Repertory Theatre Company presents THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGAENT EVER, Thurs, Nov 30, and Fri, Dec 1 and Dec 8, 7:30pm; Sat, Dec 2 and Dec 9, 8pm; and Sun, Dec 3 and Dec 10, 2pm, Black Box Theatre, $15. A unique and entertaining spin on an age-old tale. If you have yet to hear of The Wrecks—an alternative band that took the music industry by storm—I suggest you pull up your Spotify app and take a listen. Without a doubt, you will “wreck” your repeat button.

The Wrecks’ sound is unique, yet familiar in a sense. The band is oftentimes compared to distinguished alternative bands like Cage The Elephant, The Black Keys, and The Arctic Monkeys.

The 13th Annual Wildwood Block Party and Music Festival returns to Fox Park Sunday, September 3

Add FREE family fun and music to your Labor Day Weekend festivities with the 13th Annual Wildwood Block Party and Music Festival on Sunday, September 3.

The end-of-summer celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Fox Park, located on Ocean Avenue directly across from the Wildwoods Convention Center. The festivities will include 12 hours of continuous entertainment, games, crafts, food, merchandise vendors, FREE live music and much more!

The entertainment line-up will feature MFSB, Brass Transit…The Musical Legacy of Chicago, Jeremiah Hunter, Just In Time and Bittersweet.

Summer Concerts

The Lacey Recreation Department is hosting the second and final Outdoor Concert as part of The Carousel of Music sponsored by the Ocean County Parks and Recreation Department on August 16, 2017 at the Deerhead Lake Beach (3rd Lake).

The Lacey Township Recreation Department is honored to welcome The Tequila Rose Band on Wednesday, August 16th.  The Tequila Rose Band is a professional, talented group of musicians performing the hottest “new country” hits along with some country classics and classic rock.   The concert, at Deerhead Lake Beach, will begin at 6:30pm.

The City of Wildwood Announces Rock and Roar 2017 Roar to The Shore Beach Concert Friday, September 8

The City of Wildwood announced Rock and Roar 2017, a beach concert that will take place on the Wildwood beach behind the famous Wildwood welcome sign September 8. Headliners include national artists Eddie Money, Foghat, The Michael Allman Band, and up and coming artists Dead Fish Handshake Gates and concessions open at 5 p.m., and the show will begin at 6 p.m.

Eddie Money, once a New York City police officer, burst onto the music scene in the late 70’s and has never looked back. Best known for his hits “Two Tickets to Paradise” and “Baby Hold On,” Money continues to astound crowds with his high-energy performances.

Foghat has been a classic rock staple for over 30 years. Their hits “Slow Ride,” “I Just Wanna Make Love To You” and “Stone Blue” have been used in countless movies, TV shows and commercials.
