Friends of Jackson Library Host Country Western Dance and Silent Auction

Join us for the Friends of the Jackson Library’s Country Western Dance and Silent Auction from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, April 1 at the Jackson Firehouse #55, 113 North New Prospect Road.

You’ll have a fun evening with friends, music, dance and desserts. Music and instruction provided by Billy and Lisa, BTK Entertainment. Couples, singles, no experience or partner needed. Children’s Puppet Show Coming to Seven Library Branches

The Ocean County Library Puppet Show Players will transform “The Princess and the Pony” picture book into a wonderful children’s puppet show at seven library branches during February.

Children and families will enjoy the story of Princess Pinecone’s birthday. She would like nothing more than to have a horse fit for a warrior. Her parents surprise her with a pony that doesn’t quite meet her expectations. Princess Pinecone may realize there is a warrior in the little pony after all. OCEAN COUNTY SCHEDULES MEDICARE SEMINARS; SENIORS ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND

OCEAN COUNTY seniors are encouraged to attend informational seminars to learn more about 2017 changes to Medicare plans and how it may affect their individual health benefits and coverage.

“The Ocean County Office of Senior Services will be providing assistance to our seniors who may have questions about changes to Medicare or who need to make plan changes,” said Ocean County Freeholder Joseph H. The Ocean County Library will host “Tech Buddies” where teen volunteers will assist those seeking help with smartphones, tablets, and other tech items.

SUMMER CONCERT SERIES RETURNS TO JACKSON PREMIUM OUTLETS

In addition to great savings, guests can enjoy the sweet sounds of summer as Jackson Premium Outlets, a Simon center, presents its Summer Concert Series.  The complimentary live shows are held every Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m., weather permitting, outside of the Food Court. OCEAN COUNTY TO REPLACE A BRIDGE AND CULVERT IN JACKSON

Work to replace the North Cooks Bridge and the Jackson Mills Culvert in Jackson Township could begin by mid-summer.

“The work is expected to get underway in a few months,” said Freeholder Director John P.
