520 Hilliard Blvd, Manahawkin, NJ, will hold its annual Good Friday Fish Fry from 4pm -8pm to benefit NJ State Elks Camp Moore -“A summer camp for our special needs children”
All are welcome to attend and enjoy a delicious dinner of fried fish and/or scallops, or just one or the other, with french fries and cole slaw.

A glorious fun filled day was had by all Sunday, 2/11/18
at the Manahawkin Elks Lodge #2340 Special Needs Valentine’s Party.
Over 125 special needs adults and children, on a gloomy, rainy afternoon, were greeted by almost 40 Elk Volunteers, Officers and Antlers, and treated to a homecooked lunch with all the fixings, followed by music and dancing the rest of the afternoon.
Everyone left with full bellies, presents and a giant smile.

Students arriving for the spring semester at Stockton University at Manahawkin discovered it had grown to more than three times its size.
The expansion into the adjacent 7,915 square-foot building at 712 E. Bay Avenue in Manahawkin, former site of Rothman Institute Orthopaedics, gives nursing students more room for hands-on learning in the six-bed Foundations of Nursing lab and seven physical assessment examining rooms. Long having the most extensive visual art instruction opportunities in Southern New Jersey, Pine Shores Art Association presents 90 class offerings in 2018 in every drawing and painting medium for artists from beginner to advanced. Starting this year, all adult classes can be signed up online through a secure security-encrypted payment port. Online information also includes teacher bios and class supply lists. Membership application and payment is available online as well.
Classes expanded 30% this year to accommodate those who can only attend evening and weekend sessions, and core foundation lectures on topics like perspective, values, design and composition have been added to the roster. Also new this year, beginner class fees will include the use of basic equipment, so new students can try various mediums before investing in their own art supplies. held their annual Special Needs Christmas Party at the Lodge.
Santa and his helpers joined the fun and festivities to spread good cheer to everyone. Music, food and presents galore brought happy faces to our guests and volunteers and good times were had by all.

On Saturday 12/16/17, Manahawkin Elks Lodge #2340 will be packing 50 back packs for homeless vets at 10 am
Assisting will be our Antlers (Jr. Elks), ROTC, the Mayor and City Council, Stafford Township PD and Elks veterans.
Lunch will be served.
Pine Shores Art Association annual Art Harvest Show hosts a free open house reception for participating artists and the public on Sunday, November 5 from 1 – 4 pm in their gallery at 94 Stafford Avenue in Manahawkin. The show will remain hanging throughout the month of November and be open to the public on Sundays from 1-3 pm and Wednesdays from 10 am-2:30 pm.
All Pine Shores’ members are invited to enter the Art Harvest Show, which is one of the major exhibitions in the annual Pine Shores’ calendar. Over 300 area artists are members, and more than 50 are participating in this show, each presenting one of their best original works completed within the last three years that was not done in a class setting. The Manahawkin Elks, 520 Hilliard Blvd., Manahawkin, will hold a Masquerade Ball on Saturday, October 28 from 7:00 to 11:00 pm. There will be a Surf-n-Turf Dinner with scallops and Prime Rib, prepared by Chef John Grifo; cash bar will be available. Music by Bourbon Bros.
Donation is $23.00 for members and their guests. Purchase tickets at the Lounge.
