Little Free Library at the Seaport

November 25 – 12 noon
The grand opening of the Little Free Library at Tuckerton Seaport & Baymen’s Museum will be at noon on Saturday, November 25. Located on the Visitor Center front porch, the Little Free Library provides a neighborhood sharing program for book lovers of all ages. Participating is easy. Just stop by the Visitor Center any time and pick up or drop off an adult or children’s book. The Little Free Library will be open 24/7.

The Little Free Library is a national program created to build community, spark creativity, and inspire readers. The Seaport is proud to be a registered location for a Little Free Library. Do you have some new or gently used books that are gathering dust on your bookshelf?  You can donate those books to our Little Free Library by dropping them off at the book collection box at the Visitor Center.  Thanks!

EEK! Ghosts, Goblins and Witches, oh my!!

Ready for a frightastic adventure? Join us at Haunted Seaport where pirates and sea captains long lost at sea will stroll the Seaport’s boardwalk and zombies are brought back to life.  Or, climb aboard a hayride for a ghostly howling good time through the Haunted Woods.
We will also have a expanded, non-scary Family Fun Activity Area hosted by Jersey Family Fun with PUMPKIN SLIME, crafts, stories, games, and not so scary fall activities.
Prepare to be amazed as Joe Holiday performs magic on the stage! The Kid-Friendly Activity Area will be open 6pm-9pm on Thursday and Friday, and 3pm-9pm on Saturday. Magic Shows will begin at 6:30 and 7:30 on Thursday and Friday. Even more magic has been added to Saturday night with shows at 4:30, 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30!
General Admission is $10 for adults, $5 kids 5-12, kids under 5 and Seaport members receive free general admission. Hayrides of the Haunted Woods are $5 for everyone. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Author Ernest Kaufman Speaks This Sunday 1 pm at Little Egg Harbor Meeting House

Ernest Kaufman tells his remarkable story as a holocaust survivor, a WWII survivor and local award winning chicken farmer, this Sunday September 17 at the Little Egg Harbor Meeting House located at 21 E. Main Street in Tuckerton.

35th Annual Ocean County Decoy & Gunning Show

This is a two-day event highlighting the culture of the Barnegat Bay region. Demonstrations, contests, seminars, crafters, carvers, vendors, food and music. Includes the Dock Dog competition as featured on ESPN! Visit the Tuckerton Seaport Heritage Tent at the lake.

Tuckerton Seaport’s signature event returns for the 5th consecutive year with a 1950’s greasy twist. As in years past, attendees can expect food and fun from over a dozen food trucks featuring the best from NJ, as well as 8 craft brews and live music.

25th Annual Baymen’s Seafood Festival

Enjoy delicious Jersey fresh clams, crabs, scallops and shrimp from the finest local seafood purveyors. Drink from the brew court featuring local crafted beers. Shop for gifts and souvenirs from unique vendors. Listen and dance to the music from local favorites: September’s Brew on Saturday and Motts Creek Pickers on Sunday. Enjoy crafters, family activities, demonstrations, boat builders and decoy carvers. Speak to commercial fishermen to learn about occupations on the bay or take a clam shucking class. In addition, we will be holding the 25th Anniversary Gift Auction!! Bring the whole family and plan to spend the day.
