25th Annual Baymen’s Seafood Festival

Enjoy delicious Jersey fresh clams, crabs, scallops and shrimp from the finest local seafood purveyors. Drink from the brew court featuring local crafted beers. Shop for gifts and souvenirs from unique vendors. Listen and dance to the music from local favorites: September’s Brew on Saturday and Motts Creek Pickers on Sunday. Enjoy crafters, family activities, demonstrations, boat builders and decoy carvers. Speak to commercial fishermen to learn about occupations on the bay or take a clam shucking class. In addition, we will be holding the 25th Anniversary Gift Auction!! Bring the whole family and plan to spend the day.

Privateers and Pirates Festival


Saturday, June 10

Arrrgh, me hearties! Would-be pirates of all ages are invited to Tuckerton Seaport for the 6th Annual Privateers & Pirates Festival.

This is your chance to set sail for a fun-filled day for the entire family. The Seaport staff has been plottin’ and schemin’ for months to come up with a line-up even a landlubber would enjoy. The day’s activities begin at 11am with a Pirate Meet & Greet. Get your hands on a treasure map as you enter to join in the fun of a treasure hunt.

Heirloom Easter Basket Class at Tuckerton Seaport

Fee: $45 members/ $50 nonmembers, does not include materials fee
This original version Easter basket is made with a twined woven base using a 10x 12 d handle, including spring colors.  This beautiful basket will become your family’s favorite Easter Tradition. Materials fee of $35 is payable to instructor day of class. Pre-registration is required by March 12, 2017

Children’s Puppet Show Coming to Seven Library Branches

The Ocean County Library Puppet Show Players will transform “The Princess and the Pony” picture book into a wonderful children’s puppet show at seven library branches during February.

Children and families will enjoy the story of Princess Pinecone’s birthday. She would like nothing more than to have a horse fit for a warrior. Her parents surprise her with a pony that doesn’t quite meet her expectations. Princess Pinecone may realize there is a warrior in the little pony after all.
