Downtown Haddonfield will once again celebrate our four legged friends with pet-related promotions, adoption opportunities and pet-friendly activities during Haddonfield’s second annual ‘Pet-a-Palooza’ charity event on Saturday, April 9 from noon – 4 p.m. (Rain date Sunday, April 10 from noon – 4 p.m.).
The event will feature an opportunity to adopt a dog and/or cat from the local Camden County Animal Shelter (CCAS) along Kings Highway from noon – 4 p.m. Various vendors and other shelters will also offer pet adoption opportunities throughout the day in the Downtown.
“Pet-a-Palooza is not only a great opportunity for visitors to bring their pets to enjoy the Downtown during a day dedicated to our four-legged friends, but also a chance to become a pet ‘person’ by adopting a pet; and to donate to a great cause – the CCAS,” said Remi Fortunato, Retail Recruiter for the Partnership for Haddonfield.
DJ Frank Staff will perform musical entertainment throughout the day behind the gazebo at Kings Court. Additional activities and attractions include a pet bakery and gourmet treats at Ahead of the Pack (207 Kings Highway East) during the entire event. Along with a balloon artist and face painter, there will be pet-related service providers available, a mobile vet van, handcrafted pet products and a caricaturist. All participation vendors’ fees will be donated to the CCAS.

About Camden County Animal Shelter (CCAS)
Founded by the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders in 1997, the Camden County Animal Shelter (CCAS) has been fighting to reduce the overwhelming stray/unwanted animal population in its county. CCAS is an open admissions shelter and takes in over 6,000 companion animals from 17 municipalities in Camden County every year. CCAS provides Camden County with low-cost spay and neutering options. By providing the service at such a low cost, CCAS hopes to reduce the number of stray/unwanted animals in the county.
