Kelley Anne Mc Gee grew up in North Jersey. As a little girl she spent her summers vacationing with family, relatives and friends at the Jersey Shore.
As a teenager she lived and worked at the Jersey Shore during summers, until she would someday return there for good becoming a permanent resident.
She graduated from a local high school receiving an honorable mention for advertising along with her diploma.
She studied Communications at Union County College. She was a reporter for the college paper and a stringer reporter for The Daily Journal. In June of 1986, she received an award for Excellence in Creative Writing from UCC.
She studied Journalism at Ocean County College and was a reporter for the college paper. She received a certificate for Magazine and Newspaper Article Writing. She was the college magazine’s SEASCAPE f87 Literary Winner.
Today she continues to live, work and play along the Jersey Shore. She is a columnist for several popular shore publications including The Forked River Gazette, Long Island Boating World and The Sun By-The-Sea. In 2004, she released her pleasure guidebook Great Jersey Shore Jaunts.
