Mental Health Association in New Jersey Received an Award from the National Council Awards of Excellence

The Mental Health Association in New Jersey was among 22 honorees nationwide that received an award from the National Council Awards of Excellence, which was held in Seattle, Washington on April 5.   

Pictured are and Bob Kley, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the agency, who works out of the Ocean County office, and  Jaime Angelini, Director of Consumer Services at the Mental Health Association in Atlantic County.

The award was earned for outstanding community impact though the Mental Health First Aid program, which certified more than 5,000 New Jerseyans last year.  The awards are considered the “Oscars of Behavioral Health.” Each year the council recognizes individuals and organizations for finding innovative ways to improve the lives of Americans living with mental illness and addictions.
