Monmouth-Ocean Chapter of NJAHU Receives Pacesetter Award

The Monmouth-Ocean Chapter of the New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters (NJAHU) recently received the Pacesetter Award at the National Association of Health Underwriters’ (NAHU) 87th Annual Convention and Exhibition in Orlando, FL.

The criteria for receiving this award includes attendance at national and regional meetings, chapter management, hosting local meetings and events, communications, membership activities and growth, public service projects, media relations efforts, and continuing education.

“The leadership of NAHU members has a far-reaching impact on providing for the healthcare needs of individuals, families and business in their communities. We are grateful for the Monmouth-Ocean Chapter’s hard work and recognize them with this well-deserved award,” said NAHU CEO Janet Trautwein.

“The Monmouth-Ocean Chapter exemplifies the dedication to providing the best opportunities for our members,” said Paul Aszklar, 2016-17 president of the chapter. “This year, our chapter organized a charity golf outing to benefit Hope Sheds Light, an organization dedicated to educating families on the disease of addiction, raised money and donated toys to the needy families at holiday time, held numerous continuing education courses, and recruited and retained members through our annual give back campaign. These projects and many others have set a standard of excellence in the health insurance industry that we are proud to represent.”

NAHU represents 100,000 professional health insurance agents and brokers who provide insurance for millions of Americans. For more information, please visit njahu.org.
