While enjoying Black Run Preserve’s peaceful beauty, the FBRP hope you always experience respect and courtesy with fellow outdoors people. Share the Preservewith your family and friends and help us promote peace in our small corner of the world.

Join us at the Marlton Tavern to celebrate each new season, get to know other Friends of Black Run Preserve, and enjoy a night out mingling. We’ll be celebrating the Winter Solstice on December 17 at 7pm. Winter Solstice occurs on December 22, so we’ll be a few days early with our celebration due to holidays. This event is open to everyone.

Birding / Photography Tour Event

Join us for a Birding Tour combined with a Photography Tour! Darlene Emers and Amy Golden are teaming up for a tour — so whether you just want to bird watch or you’d like to learn more about nature photography, then you don’t want to miss this tour. We’ll be feeding and photographing birds and bogs. Be sure to bring your binoculars and cameras!

  • When: Saturday, December 19
  • Where: Meet on the Black Trail at Black Run Preserve
  • Time: 8:00am – 10:00am
  • Cost: Tours are FREE but donations are accepted.
